With some audiences you just can’t beat around the bush. So, when BDS Suspension came to us looking for a lift in their marketing, we didn’t sugarcoat a thing. Our work for BDS included logo development, a print campaign, and packaging design, all of which they wanted to reflect their hardcore attitude.
A little rough around the edges, the direct tone of the print ads definitely caught the attention of their male audience. And there’s no denying that sometimes, it’s all about the package! Possibly one of our most attention-grabbing creative ever, the new BDS was as candid as they come. As for their logo, hardcore barely even cuts it.
Due to the success of the initial campaign, BDS asked us to develop a separate campaign that would be promoted in magazines and in stores. It was important to mirror the overall campaign while incorporating a promotion to receive a gift card from Cabela’s. Well, we nailed it. “A deal so good you’ll pitch a tent.” Literally of course… with the tent you bought using the gift card for Cabela’s from your big BDS purchase.
