The Brass Band of Battle Creek came to BluFish with a brand identity problem. Although it attracts some of the best musicians from around the world, there was a general awareness problem with its local community. The BBBC is one of the most acclaimed brass bands in the world, yet marketing efforts weren’t accurately portraying this level of prestige.
Since working together, BluFish has launched effective campaigns for the holiday and spring concerts, revamped the logo to appeal to a younger audience, captured compelling photo/video of concerts and youth education initiatives, assisted with branding of their annual beer crawl, and implemented social media strategies to help further awareness. Accomplishments to date include a sold-out show at the 2022 holiday concert and the largest ticket sales in the Band’s history at the 2023 spring concert. Needless to say, so far this partnership has been nothing short of a success.
